When detecting gravitational waves on the early morning of September 14, 2015, or when announcing the first image of a black hole’s silhouette on April 10, 2019, the physics community must have thought: it always seems impossible until it is done.

If so many theoretical projections by Albert Einstein's theory of general relativity indeed see the light of day in our Universe, what do we make then of the prediction of wormholes?

Could they be next in line of natural phenomena waiting to be discovered by science?
